The benefits of a Reverse Osmosis Drinking water System

With a Reverse Osmosis system you can say good-bye to costly bottled water, heavy water carrying, and limited tap filters. You will have unlimited ultra fresh, delicious drinking water at you kitchen sink. You will no longer need bottle water for drinking, ice and coffee making, baby formulas, and pet feeding. You will also find an added benefit in cooking, dietary/medical uses and precious plant watering.

There are tremendous savings that can be had with a Reverse Osmosis System. Below we have calculated the average consumption of bottled water for a family of four.

A family of four will drink on average 8 liters per day in the five hot months of the summer. That calculates to 1,200 liters.

For the other seven months of the year, this same family will drink an average 3 liters per day. That calculates to 630 liters.

That’s a grand total of 1,830 liters per year. At 30 pence per bottle, that is an amazing £549 per year on bottled water.

Or, £274 per year for a couple that live together.

With a standard installation cost for a Reverse Osmosis System at £445 plus VAT, it does not take long before you are saving money.

How does a Reverse Osmosis System work?

The Reverse Osmosis System is installed under the kitchen sink, with a second tap placed at the corner of your sink for drinking and cooking purposes.

  • The first phase is the sediment filter. This will remove dust, particles, and rust.
  • The second phase is the carbon filter. This will remove unpleasant chlorine, tastes and odours, as well as cloudiness and colours.
  • Third, is the 5 micron carbon filter. This will remove residual chlorine, taste and odours, plus compounding the pre-filters, and giving a greater efficiency and extending the membrane’s life.
